Retreat Oasis Portugal is a family-run, lovingly curated retreat within walking distance of Praia Grande beach in Sintra, Portugal.
In summer, our place transforms into a lively, warm oasis filled with families, children’s laughter, surfers, sunshine and good energy.

If spending Summer 2027 at Retreat Oasis sounds exciting to you, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Applications for Summer 2027 will open in October 2026.
For our Family Retreats, we usually look for two warm-hearted and reliable volunteers — ideally friends travelling together — who would like to join our team for a minimum of one month. 🌿☀️

Our volunteers are an essential part of our retreat flow.
They bring lightness, warmth and support into many of our processes – and help us create a welcoming, relaxed and loving experience for our guests.
At the same time, volunteers receive something in return that is truly priceless:
a summer by the sea, community, nature, surfing, freedom – and the true retreat feeling.
Time frame 2027 – When we need you
We are looking for volunteers for the entire July & August 2027.
The most important period is:
📅 July 1st – August 25th 2027
If you are available during this time – or for most of it – you are a perfect fit.

Your tasks – simple, varied, meaningful
You will support us in areas such as:
• welcoming guests and assisting them warmly
• preparing breakfast baskets
• helping during the Welcome Dinner & Pizza Night
• supporting children (ages 3–6) at the beach – lovingly and playfully
• creating social media content (creativity welcome!)
• light cleaning and organizational tasks
You don’t need any professional experience – just warmth, reliability and the joy of helping.
Who we are looking for
You will support us in areas such as:

• are independent and helpful
• enjoy being around families & children
• like to laugh and bring positive energy
• speak English (German is a big advantage!)
• want to spend a summer with purpose
Two friends traveling together are ideal – but solo applications are equally welcome.
