We are Julia & Florian, the founders of Retreat Oasis Portugal – a special sanctuary that we have created with a lot of heart for families like yours.
As parents of a wonderful 8-year-old daughter, we know how challenging it can be to balance family, work, hobbies, and the daily chaos of life – without losing sight of yourself or others.
From experience, we know how difficult it can be to find quality time with loved ones. We’ve experienced the difference mindful communication and recognizing and expressing needs and feelings when interacting with children and partners can make. Hallelujah! 😉
Over the past few years, we’ve had the chance to discover so many powerful tools for inner growth, to help us personally evolve!

Who is the retreat for?
This retreat can also be attended by a parent with children.
Can I also participate without a partner?
For maximum relaxation and connection, however, it is best if 2 accompanying adults are traveling with the children. Take grandma or your best friend with you.
Blended families are also very welcome.
If you, as a mother with children, know another mother with children, for example, you can also take part in the retreat together like a big family.

Can I also cook myself?
A varied breakfast is included on the retreat days (Mon-Sun). Two dinners (Sun and Sat) and the do-it-yourself pizza evening too.
Is the food kid friendly?
In addition to culinary delicacies and carefully selected food, which children have found to taste good, there will also be the option of “naked” noodles, homemade roasted sweet potatoes, rice and plain wraps as an alternative for children at the inclusive dinners.
At the Vitality breakfast brunch, there will also be freshly conjured porridge, fruit, cereals such as cornflakes, chocolate pops, muesli, bread, croissants, toast, butter, jam, etc., especially for our young guests.
As an alternative to cow’s milk, there is rice drink, almond milk or oat milk.
If you or your family members traveling with you have food intolerances, gluten intolerance or allergies, or prefer vegan food – please inform us in good time.
What is the cancellation policy?
- A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
- The balance (of 70%) is to be paid until the day of arrival
- If you cancel more than 45 days before the start of the retreat, the deposit can be used for another retreat or appointment at Retreat Oasis Portugal. You will then receive a non-refundable deposit credit which can be redeemed against the next booking. Unfortunately, if the booking is canceled within 45 days before the start of the retreat, the deposit cannot be refunded.
